Borza Ghomeshi who has worked with many famous artists including, Sarah McLaughlin, Rufus Wainright and many more and I teamed up to co- produce together my upcoming Acoustic record . To be called, “Raices” meaning “Roots” in Spanish, it will feature original compositions in a roots reggae and son style with african rhythms and eclectic instruments. Going back to my Ukrainian roots, I will be working with Ukrainian musicians and instruments such as cimbalom, sopilka, bandura and have had the luxury of recording with virtuoso Ukrainian gypsy violinist: Vasyl Papaduke. The session musicians so far I have worked with are: Alain Burr on Bass Guitar, Sule Heitner on Guitar and Pierre- Olivier Bolduc on Dijeridoo. Album set to be released in late Spring 2016.
